Working as a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology Banaras Hindu University Varanasi.
He received his Ph.D degree from Banaras Hindu University in 1984 and completed his M.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University in 1980 and B.Sc. in 1978 from Banaras Hindu University.

His role and regulation of extra-cytoplasmic function sigma factors (RpoE) and heat shock sigma factors (RpoH) in A. brasilense.

He has a very rich experience spanning over 12 years in the field of Innovation and IPR Technology. He is involved in various educational programs by NRDC Govt. of India for spreading IPR awareness among the Universities/Institutions, startups and MSMEs.

She is an Assistant Professor of Biotechnology at Punjabi University Patiala. Her areas of research interests are Investigation of carbon-based nanomaterials, Investigation of aptamers and riboswitches, Nutraceutic Nanoemulsions for value addition in foods.

She is a member of Academic Committee of Department, Department of Biotechnology, Punjabi University Patiala, 2004-present. She is awarded R Chandrashekhar Memorial Award for Best Industry Oriented Research work.

Founder and director of a leading Intellectual Property and technology consulting firm – TT Consultants and XLPAT. She is selected as a task force member on AI by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GOI. She is a member of Core Group for Startup Ecosystem in the State of Punjab.

She was selected by the Govt. of India to be a part of the World Economic Forum Delegation and has also been Special Invitee World Economic Forum. She has been awarded for Women Entrepreneurship as a part of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) and "Woman Entrepreneur of the Year " by Ms. Chandra Kochar in Mumbai.
